Aspen Aerogels

PIDC worked with repeat client, Aspen Aerogels, to oversee the design and construction for new automotive battery testing labs inclusive of a specialty dry room and low humidity room, as well as the conversion of 15,000 SF of office space into showcase lab and office space. The ABM labs necessitated converting 26,000 SF of office space into state of the art testing and lab spaces, as well as significant roof dunnage, mechanical and electrical upgrades to support the new lab spaces. Significant design and construction effort was made to incorporate state of the art testing and research equipment from around the globe. Scope of Showcase labs included unique research and development equipment to highlight client’s R&D capabilities to potential investors.
