PIDC completed long term client, Technip Energy’s, latest project upgrading their existing Weymouth offices and lab spaces. The new design transformed the space utilizing the full 19’ clearance height to the deck to exemplify an open concept office with private meeting spaces on the perimeter, and created visual continuity between the office and on-going work in the adjacent lab. An existing building bump-out was removed including footings and foundations to allow for a slightly larger new footprint. While the office was vacated to support construction efforts, PIDC spent extensive time coordinating with the adjacent occupied and operational pilot plant to ensure minimal disruptions were had and systems remained online.
