Thermo Fisher Tewksbury

PIDC supported preconstruction and construction efforts for the consolidation and relocation of Chelmsford programs to Thermo Fisher Scientific’s existing Tewksbury location over a 6 month period. Acting as the construction manager, PIDC converted 3,500 sf of office space to lab/research space and renovated an additional 3,000 sf of office space. The lab space has a dedicated mechanical room with NPHW distribution and RODI skid and includes rooms for training, water chemistry, electro chemistry, and electro mechanical work. Given the lab is remote from existing infrastructure, the team also procured and installed a dedicated MAU and ERV to serve the space.
