Platelet Biogenesis

In January of 2020, PIDC completed an 18,000 square foot fitup of the lab and office space at 65 Grove Street in Watertown for PlateletBio. The space was designed to provide the physical infrastructure required for Platelet to conduct its unique stem-cell derived platelet manufacturing platform, advance its core program to the clinic, and establish proof of concept for platelet-based therapeutics. The buildout included utilization of house HVAC and VAC systems, as well as dedicated Nitrogen and CO2 distribution.
